A French artist. After having studied graphic design and 3D computer graphics; Monsieur Z started his career as an art director in publicity and press field. After becoming independent illustrator; he started of with directing animation series for commercials; and then established his career as an illustrator through regular contribution to the magazines like Wallpaper, which has ran for 3 years since 1999. His 60's pop and futuristic modernism caught great attention around the world, which lead him to a one of the most popular artists today. His variety of works includes advertisement for TGV campaign and Evian USA and Takashimaya, ONWARD, Tokyu Fudosan, etc. in Japan. His characteristic designs of combining interior or architectural elements with his characters are well accepted in the advertising field. Stationeries and products designed by him are still popular around the world. He is the author of French animation "Rapid" and contributed his works for other TV animations such as "Jet Groove." He has been the artist for the top page of Japanese Marui Shopping website "Web Channel" for the last 4 years.
